Default 1st week gun harvest

This meat has to go to alot of guys because all three were taken on drives.
The bear was taken on a really windy morning, one of the dogs started barking funnily, when the driver walked over the bald rock he found his beloved Dewey face to face with him, thats a fight he would have lost!
I missed a nice buck because I was walking toward a stand and still had my gun over my shoulder [:@].
Both does were around 120lb dressed, while the bear was 225lb.

Only the hardcore guys are still in the woods 2nd week, hopefully there are a few bucks left for my last chance this saturday. If not, I've already got a bow buck in the freezer and theres another month on archery to come.

looks like a good hunt. Where abouts in Ontario where they taken?

Do you guys use beagles? The first day last week our best two dogs didnt come back to camp, so for the rest of the week we only had one, and he wouldnt even tounge. Needless to say, the only deer we got shooting at were when we were just sitting-no dogs. We got 1 buck and couldnt find a doe my dad hit in 60A.

We use two dogs, both are beagle /lab crosses, ones a good deer dog and an excellent waterfowler, the other is vice versa.
We spend rifle season in 62, but I also have permission for archery in 76B and 78A.
How about you guys post some pics?
