I have had the Leica 10x42 range finder binoculars for about 4 years now and really like them. A friend has Swarovski and we have compared them side by side and cannot tell any difference. Light gathering and clarity are about the same and the range finder feature are similar. I think the Leica might be a slight bit cheaper. If I had to do it again I would definitely buy Leica again.

I used the Bushnells in Nebraska this year, the rangefinder is as good or better then the Leica or Swarovski combos and better then my Zeiss rangefinder.

Glass wise they are pretty darn nice for the price. I would save the $2000 and get the Bushnell units.

I have the Zeiss but think I would like to try the leica new 10x42 HD B's. My reason is the Zeiss readout is hard to work with if not positioned just right.
I have read many reports that the Leica's are the best on the market. Don't cheap out it will bite you in the end.
