Default scope rail for Savage 93R17

I have a new(for my B/D)Savage 93R17F. I need to acquire a picatinny rail for QD application. Came with Weaver style crosscut base, but this is lame and not possible for Leupold PRW or QRW ring set.
Any offerings for where to buy would be my new best friend (or not) ! I have asked at Midway,Leupold, etc., but to no avail .
Thank You People !!

Merry Christmas !

NOTE: sorry for any misspelling, general ignorance, and drooling.......

I was under the impression that PRW rings will fit weaver style slots just fine. Try checking the SWFA site under mounts. There are several manufacturers there. Good luck.

Default Prw...qrw ?

Thank You Gentlemen for your response's !

I again went to Outdoor Warehouse store and put the Leupold QRW up against a Savage 93R17F. This is the model my wife bought me. Problem with the non-Bbl's, the Weaver/Picatinny style base(2 piece) is really cheap. The fit is almost laughable. I figure to go with the QRW, then take off the bases and shave one side to get a better bite. Savage is no help. For those with Bbl, Weaver has a 2 piece part # 16, but nothing for us smaller bl class(ultra whining here). As popular as these models have become, I guess I will go to more garage/divorce sales after the first of yr. for a Bbl.. My wife means well so I have resorted to putting sticky notes around my computer with my 'ammo needs'. Shameful !

End of comments...problem solved...again Thanks !!
