Default Need some advice on choosing my first good binos.

I'm looking at the Monarch ATB 10x42, Minox 10x42 BV BRW, Vanguard Spirit 10x42s, and Vortex Diamondback 10x42. I'm willing to consider other suggestions in this price range. If anyone has any experience with any of these or perhaps multiple that would be great. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I just request the Nikon Prostaff 7 10x42's for Christmas from the wife. She has already got them but I have to wait. I compaired them side by side with the Monarch's, and the Diamonbacks and I couldn't tell the difference between any of them in the store. My wife had $35 off at Dick's Sporting Goods and they don't carry Vortex so I told her I wanted the Prostaff 7's. I think anyone of them will serve you well.
