Default Rings and bases for Leupoled VX II

Hi. I'm trying to figure out which rings and bases to get for a Leupold VX II 3x9x40 to be mounted on a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 6.5x55. I think the low, dual dovetail Leupold rings will work, and I was considering using the dual dovetail Leupold bases. I think the 6.5x55 is a long action receiver, except it may not make much difference with the two dovetail bases. Are there some other base and ring combos you folks have used that you like really well? I don't want more bases with rear windage screws b/c I don't feel I need it and I have had a windage screw fall out recently. Is there anything new, cool, or neat that works well?

IMO the Burris Signature Zee rings are the best I've used under $100. That includes Leupold rings. However, for the bases there are lots of good choices. Burris makes good bases, Weaver makes some good ones, and even Leupold if you want Leupold style bases.
