I'd rather have fewer in number and better in quality. Just my preference.

By asking the question, I'm assuming you have the money. Then the answer is yes, they are worth it. You can get good quality glass for less but if you want the best, you're on the right track.

well.. money is always a issue but I am a deer-elk guide,
so I am thinkin it might be a good investment.
But do you know any good glasses for cheaper?

It's all relative. Both Vortex and Sightron have very good models for less cash. Other Euro brands to consider are Meopta and IOR.

look at minox, also there are mil-surp binocs available that are just as good. I have a pair of Carl Zeiss Jenna 7x42 EDF's that SXS are as good or better than swuaro's or leica's, I paid a whopping 400 bucks for them.
