Default bore sighting-----

I mounted and bore sighted the new Burris Fullfield ll 3-9x40mm on my 45-70 and within several "clicks" the windage crosshair was right on, but the elevation adjustment took turning the knob about halfway around. It didn't come to the end of travel or get tight, but it just seemed like a lot of movement to get it up high enough. Can they take a fair amount of adjustment sometimes with out meaning there is a problem?------Iv'e recently mounted and bore sighted another Burris Fullfield and a Bushnell 3200 and neither of those took an excessive amount of adjustment. Just take it out to the range and try it? ------------John
