Default nikon or leupold

im looking at getting a new pair of binoculars for this year. im looking to spend about $150-$200. i have always used bushnells before and always liked them but i was looking at moving up and trying a new brand. i am looking at the nikon trailblazers or the leupold acadia. i prefer the 10x over the 8x but other than that i have no other preferences concerning either of these models. does anybody else have these or have any input good or bad? thanks for the help.

I tried the Nikon Trailblazer in 10 x 50 and the Leupold Acadia in 8 x 42, bought the Leupolds' the view through them was a lot sharper to me. You can't go wrong with either of them. If you can try them outdoors as opposed to in the store, lighting outside is a lot different than inside. I work at Cabelas so I was able to check them out and use them for a couple of weeks in the same situations as I would after purchase.

Take a look at the Minox BV line of binoculars. This is Minox's "value" line but they have some excellent glass. I think you will get a lot more binocular for your money.
