Default nikon monarch

ok guys i listened to what you said abot the monarch. should i go with a 8-32 or a 6-24 we will be shooting over 500 yds some but not all the time do you think a 24 power scope will do the job if i see a coyote or a chuck at 700 or 800 yds? i found a scope a guy is sellin it's a brand new monarch 6-24 for 496.99 or a 8-32 for 689 what would you gys do

I'd probably go with the 6-24 also. What you will run into with any optics at this price range, is the higher magnification comes with a price . . . the image will darken and be hard to see anything at 500+ tards because the scope just can't gather enough light for clear images.
24 will still give you a god view of your target at long distances.
Any chance you could go to a store and compare?
