MONARCH OR VIPER

I am looking at both these scopes trying to figure out which one is a better all around scope. I am looking at the Monarch 2-8x32 and the Viper 2-7x32. Any opinions or advice would be appriciated.

I'd be inclined to try the Viper. I've never handled one but the reviews have been good. Also, Nikon's CS is sometimes questionable whereas Vortex is supposedly top notch. May be worth a shot. Please post info on your choice and findings. Good luck.

Tough choice, they are real close in weight and length..I got Monarch's and think they are a real nice and clear scope. Never looked through a Viper.

I haven't handled the Vortex scopes yet but based on the performance of my Viper binos I would say the Vortex will do you well.
