Have a weatherby ultralightweight in .243 Win coming soon, can't figure out the perfect scope for it though.

Going to be my antelope rig, and the occasional coyote rifle too.
Would like a scope with 12-16x on the top side.
I want a zeiss conquest 4.5-14x44 with the RZ 600 reticle, but the RZ 600 only comes on up to the 3.5-10x44 scope, and 10x is a little low for my liking, I plan to shoot 400yds on antelope, maybe even 500.
Anyone have experience with Mil Dot reticles? I can get the zeiss conquest 4.5-14x44 with a mil dot.
Also considered the Nikon Monarch X 4-16x, with a duplex or mil dot.
I like Nikons, but I don't want a BDC reticle, just don't really like the circles.
Because its a lightweight setup, am considering trying to keep it somewhat light, though this isn't a big factor.
How good are bushnell or burris or other non leupold, nikon, zeiss brands?
