Default Rain X..?

I was wondering if I could use RainX on my scopes so they would be like the car windshield or like someBushnell scopeswhich have Rain Guard..?... curious if any one has tried this before and has it worked....

I would hesitate to use it as it may damage the coatings on the glass....

I don't think rain x would work well on a scope. I seems to only work good on a car windshield when the car is up to speed.

NO NO NO NO NO. Never use Rain-X on scope glass.
