Default Leica

Do any of you have Leica Geovid binocs with the range finder built in?? I was thinking of purchasing a pair of 10x42. Any input???

Yea. It kills ttrheir warranty. Normally, there high end binos are lifetime waranty. With the rangefinder, they change that to 5 years. Hmm, I'll carry my rangefinder separate. Also, there is some issue about the coating design, also due to making the rangefinder work vs. a different $1500 binos coatings.Basically they use a lesser coating on this model.

All this said, I really cannot say that they are or are not a best binocular. Like most, I cannot afford these and I would really need to use them in the field to render proper judgement.
