Default Leupold Acadia Binoculars

Have anyone used these? I'm thinking about getting a pair in 8x42 power. I want either a pair of these or the Nikon Monarch. Maybe Santa will be extra nice to me this year What do you all think?

Default RE: Leupold Acadia Binoculars

I purchased the Acadia 8x42 a few weeks ago. If you currently use cheap Tasco binos now like I did, it wiil be a night and day difference. I am happy with them. Only complaint is the lens cover for the front -It will not stay on. The Monarchs are slightly better and slightly more expensive. I narrowed my choice to the same two and picked the Acadia because of a good sale price.
