Default click chart

i recently bought a zeiss




CONQUEST 4.5-14x44 AO MC to put a 300 ultra mag. any suggestions on how to make a click chart for it?

Shoot through a Crony to figure the FPS, do not guestimate this number, know what the BC of the bullet is and go to www.biggameinfo.com If you enter accurate info you will be very close

chrony the load, then tweak it to your rifle and conditions, to 700 yards the charts work well, beyond that you need to figure in current conditions, then convince yourself it ain't that far!

how much is a decent/nice chrony? Do you just put it at the end of the bench and shoot through it, basically from the muzzle?

dig that website.....plus a chrony I think can be a lethal combo....

"Shooting Crony" around $100. That is a decent one. Not the best but works great for the $$
