Well to my eyes the pinnacles weren't worth the extra dollars over the cascades, olympics ornikon monarch's. For the same price level I liked the Bushnell E2 elites better. Though optics are very personal so I suggest you go handle/look through as many as possible inside your budget then buy what you think is best. I'd also suggest staying in the 8x range with this class/budget. The 8x pinnacles weren't bad but the 10x's I put down pretty quickly. On the flip side the 10x50 olympics i spent more time with as i found their image to be more pleasing to my eyes.
