When looking at different red dot optics for turkey guns there are a lot of different options. Me being a fan of Mueller optics it was a no brainer. Mueller is Located In Michigan and they make some great products. IMO mueller optics are very underated for the money. All of there scopes and red dots seem to be a great value. The owner is a great guy and an enthusiast to the industry. The quick shot is a new red dot for Mueller. Its very similar to the Tru glo trupoint....but HALF the cost. It comes in Realtree hardwoods but it matchs the Timber pattern perfectly. The quick shot has 4 different reticle options that you can change on the fly, and also has an automatic brightness sensor to adjust the reticle. All of the specs can be seen here

The test gun was a Benelli Super nova steady grip gun. This is a great gun for the money $389 from gander mountain. With the Mueller optics only being $120 you can have a heck of a turkey setup for right around $500. I used a Weaver model 93($10) base and lock tighted everything on. The first thing we did was get some cheap 7 shot shells setup a 3x3 foot target at 20 yards and centered the pattern. Then we went out to 30 and 45 yards and made sure the pattern was still centered before we started getting serious. We shot around 20 3.5" turkey loads through the gun and about 20 3" turkey loads through it was working great. Theglass wasvery clear, its obvious they use a higher grade glass.The low profile design didnt force me to get a raised comb kit forthe Benelli. It was very comftorable with the factory comb. A friend came over to pattern his 835 in and he liked it so much he said he ordered one. For the money you cant beat this red dot for turkey hunting.
One side note with the Benelli if the battery died while out in the field you can look underthe quickshotand use your bead sights!

notice the dial on the top that is set at '0' that is how you can manually adjust the brighness of the retical or set it on 'A' for automatic. Battery life is around 50 hours. Also the adjustment allen head is for the right to left adjustment.

I thought this waspretty cool...the dial on the bottom is how you adjust to different reticles. I find the Euro/Dot the most Ideal for Turkey hunting. You can set the bottom cross hair right on the neck of the turkey.
