Default bushnell legend vs elite 3200

I was reading specs on Bushnell scopes and found it interesting that they spec the cheaper Legend line of scopes as being fully-multicoated, but the more expensive elite 3200 line is only fully coated. I'm sure there's differences in thequality of coatings but I'm still surprised to see the elites aren't fully multicoated. I just bought two of them, but they haven't arrived yet...hopeI'm notdisappointed.

Im sure you wont be disapointed. I have never owned a legend series but I know people that have and they seemed happy with them. I own a 3200 elite firefly and non firefly and I love them too.

Any update on the 3200's? Did they disappoint? I'm debating between 3200 ($160'ish) and the 4200 ($250'ish) right now....

I have two 3200's both pretty good scopes. If money isnt an Issue the 4200 is deffinatly a bit brighter,Nikon monarchs are also pretty great. But I Just got a Mueller 4x16x50AO mil dot scope for my AR, and I have to say for the money this thing is great. Aprox $250 and this scope is as clear as a Monarch plus it an illuminated reticle. Sorry for the rant. I bought two Mueller optics here recently and Im very impressed with there products and customer service. I wouldnt leave them out if your looking at scopes.

Hi,

The 3200's I got are a very clear and bright scopes. There is a little edge distortion when compared to my monarch, but I guess that's to be expected considering the price diff between them. I ordered the 3200's with the firefly reticle and I'm not very happy with that at all. It works exactly as the manual says, but the reticle itself is much thicker or heavier than what the picture on the website shows. The reticle on the handgun scope is so thick, that it takes up a good 20% of the sight picture. That to me is too much, so I'm probably going to sell the pistol scope. The 2-7x32 I bought for the muzzleloader is a bit heavy like a stated earlier, but it's acceptable enough to keep and use. They look like they are really well made scopes so I'm sure I'd buy another one without the firefly.
