Default browning scopes

I see advertisements that the Browning line of scopes is made by Bushnell and are close in quality to the elite 3200 line. Before I buy one unseen via mailorder, can someone who owns one give me thier opinion on them?

Thanks

All the reviews I have read are great! They seem to be based on the 3200, but have some features of the 4200. They do not come w/ rainguard. For the price , I'm sure you wont be disappointed. Get it quick because I hear Browning has discontinued these scopes.

You're right, that's why I'm looking at buying one because they're on clearance at several places online.

Me too, I've been leaning towards a buckmaster but $129 for a quality 3-9x40 is hard to pass up.

I've been wondering the same thing...guess it doesn't matter now...I just ordered one last night from Natchez, along with an elite 2-7x32 and a 2-6x32 elite pistol scope. My wife is going to kill me!

They have stopped making them for a reason. Not sure what it is for sure, but generally it's because it isn't selling. Things generally don't sell because they are not well made. I would use caution. Browning makes fine firearms, but I am hesitant to use a scope with their name on it. If you want a scope, stick to a company that makes scopes.
just my $.02

Good Luck

They didn't sell because People are leary of buying branded products like this. The Browning scope is a mix of 3200 and 4200 Bushnell and is a fine scope..for the price they are selling for you can buy 2 of them for the price of most medium scopes. I am sure Bushnell will warranty them.
