laser bore sighters (one more round)

I just got a laser bore sighter. read how to use it. I just wanted to ask a few things.

its says 25/30 yrds recomminded. do you try this indoors to get all your guns close? outdoors what time of day is best?

10 yrds is ok. it is all the room I have indoors. do you use the targets that come with it? they are small. but they have the elevations on it.

Can you take it out to 100 yrds itself?

Most come with a target for sighting in,I do all mine indoors at 25yrds,just put the sticky target on the back wall and go from there..zero in and off to the range to fine tune at 100 or 200yrds.....
