Default leopold rifleman

Does anybody have any input about these scopes? I am thinking about putting one of there 3-9 40mmon my 30.06 remmington 700. Any input would be great...thanks

I have used Leupold for many years! The only scope I'll buy now is the Zeiss Conquest,the quality is much better...

I love leupolds. I bet I have almost a dozen, but the rifleman is the turd of the bunch. I got one for my brother, and it has so much glare it wasn't funny. And friction adjustments are very outdated. You can do much better with a bushnell Elite 3200.

The Rifleman was just a cheap spin off of the Vari X I

I will agree whole heartedly with Bigcountry - the Bushnell Elite is the only scope that I have bought the last two times I bought scopes.

One of them was to replace a Vari X I Leupold.
