Looking for a scope for my Rem 870 shotgun

I'vereceived a $100 to use towards a new scope for my Remington 870. I figure if I add $50-$100 I should be able to find a decent shotgun scope.

I hunt mostly hardwoods so I don't need anything crazy for long distance shots. I'm looking for a variable 3x-9x? maybe. I'd love to have a red/green dot/diamond in the middle.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help.

PS...I'll be going to the Harrisburg outdoor show in Feb also but thought I could find an after Xmas online bargain.

I have a Rem 870 with 23" rifled barrel with cantalever scope mount. I put on a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x 32mm shotgun scope on it and I absolutely love it. Cost is $129.00.
