single shot 12 ga slug gun, need scope recommendations

I have a 3x9x40 Nikon Prostaff on the gun (Rossi single shot slug gun) right now and grand slam weaversteel rings, Is this scope ok for the recoil it will have to endure. Im told Nikon has a great warranty thats why I went with them. Just looking into what others use and like.

Great scope. No need to change. The only thing that may be a tab better would be the Nikon ProStaff 2X7X32 shotgun scope.
