Default Zeiss conquest scopes question

My brother in law just bought one. I was real impressed with this scope. Is this a good scope for there price range? I have always bought Leupolds but I might have to give one of these a try.

The Conquest is a very nice rugged scope. Before I purchased mine, I compared it side by side to a Leupold VX III. My eyes liked the Conquest much better. I also like my Sightron Big Sky 3-12x 42mm. It is light/compact and has many nice features.

I recently put a Conquest on a Ruger No 1 and couldn't be happier. I own several Leupys and believe they have priced themselves out of the market. The Conquest is a far better value then Leupold. The Conquest is everything the VX-3 is and more at a better price in my opinion.

I agree with the others. IMO the conquest is among the best bangs for your buck, the best in its class at present from my comparison. Optically it performs with scopes costing more. The 3 have been rock solid after being put through the paces. Highly reccomended

I bought my Conquest after comparing it against a VXIII and a Bushnell Elite 4200 side-by-side, at dusk. I had parked my truck about 300 yards across the parking lot, & put a recently used target on the window. The Conquest showed the bullet holes the best. In fact, I couldn't see any difference between the $399 Conquest and a $990 Swarovski AV.

I had a packhorse step on my rifle while loading the quarters of my elk in October. The scope held its zero perfectly.

I've never heard of anyone who wasn't just THRILLED with their Conquest.

I have the 3.5x10x50 conqeust the clarity is exceptional,BUT I was muzzle loading last night it was pretty nasty here in mich. I was setting in the tree stand and had my lens caps on that came with the scope to keep the falling rain and snow off the lens and when I got back home my eye piece was fogged up that should not have fogged up,I may have to send it back in...............Ted

I have Conquests in 2.5-8, 3-9, 4.5-14, and 6.5-20 and will put any of them against any scope on the market in their price range. My eyes love them.
