I have them in black and love them. Sturdy and very clear for the price.

The glass is good for the money, but I think the eye-cups are junk. I've broken at least one eye cup each year (this is the 3rd year I've had them...I'll just send them back in again after shed season is done)

Bought a pair this year and absolutely love them. After reading reviews about them, I decided to heed people's advice andI went with them in 8x40 and was glad I did.It is easier to hold them steady on objects and they are good out to around 600-700 yards. Beyond that, I would say the 10x would be better. That would be my advice.
