Default Brunton scopes good, bad or okay?

Last nighta won a draw for a .270 with Brunton scope 3x9 40 (NRA model) at a FNRA bqanquet. I have been looking to get a new centerfire rifle & scope, and this was very a nice surprise.

I was leaning towards Trijicon insimilar magnification & power.Apart from the differences in the reticles, how do they compare as scopes?

I know this issue, like many concering hunting hardware is subjective. I mostly hunt with a shotgun, so I'm looking for input from those with more rifle experience.

Considering they don't feature scopes on their website I wonder if they did at one point and discontinued them. Trijicon requires the lamp to be changed out every I think 7-15 years not sure of the time frame. That is not covered by warranty. The scope is very rugged and no complaints about them breaking . Not sure how their customer service stacks up with companies that make similiar scopes that sell for similiar amount of money. I like the accupoints myself and have always wanted one for a deer rifle scope maybe I'll get one this year. They have great glass in them as well.

I have Brunton bino's, great quality. I bet their scope is good to. I was wondering about their spotting scopes. It is hard to find one to even just look at it though!
