On www.samplelist.com they have a Bushnell Holosight, matt, red dot, reg. $275 for $99.95 that might serve you well. Picture looks new, could be a demo/display.
I have a Millet red dot scope on the Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag. It has stood up to 320gr. handloads chronographed at 1330fps. I always change the battery every year. Price on it is going around $75.00 to $85.00 in my area.

on a casull? i would only recomment an aimpoint. but not cheap tho. with red dots their really isnt a mid value option. i have an aimpoint 9000SC on my 12ga. slug gun and it works great. built like a tank, no parallax, and the battery RUN TIME is 54,000 hours!
