Ive heard from a ton of people that they are a great scope for the money. They say they are very clear and good in low light. I will be picking up a 6-24 for my 17 pretty soon.

I was loaned one about 5 years ago to temporarily test out a rifle. That scope wasjunk. Had bad parralax and for some strange reason, you had use AO to clear up you focus. An AO is not meant for that by the way.

Don't waste your money.

I have a 1.5-4.5 Bushnell Banner on my .30-.30 and it has worked great on that rifle for the past 5 years. I would be hesitant to put it on a rifle with a stouter kick though, as I am not sure if it would give out or not?

I had a Bushnell 4x banner that stood up to 25 years of pounding on a .338 Win Mag.before going wonky.also have one on a 30-30 and several on .22's and a 6.5x55[ so far so good]Seen the crosshairs fall out of a new Tasco 3x9 1/2 way through the first box of .270 shells.slowly upgrading to all Leupold as $ allows.Perhaps Meopta or Zeiss conquest? I would never recommend the Bushnell Banner, had very bad parellex. They stand up for hell of a beating though. But i think you should invest your money into something else. Just my opinion
