Default Butler Creek Flip-Up Covers

Do the Butler Creek flip-ups keep the moisture off ofthe lens when it's raining, or does the moisture eventually seep in?

I've never had a problem with that with mine, also I like the clear ones, no need to even flip them up

They have always worked great for me.I have then on every scope that I own. However,I don't use the clear ones as I don't see the point of paying for high quality optics then looking through cheap plastic covers.
