I have picked the leupold VX-11 3-9x40 as the front runner to top my 30-06. If anybody owns this scope and could give me a review that would be great!

Good scope IMHO the VXII represents the best value for dollars spent in a leupold scope(if that makes sense). You should have many years of enjoyment/service from your Leuy and if you ever run into a problem their CS is creme dela creme!

Make sure to hold your new scope on with a good set of rings/bases leupold, burris, warne,etc.
