Bear Huntin,

I went on an Elk hunting trip with my brother last year in New Mexico and he had one mounted on his TC Omega and it worked very well for him. It wasn't till we got back to Denver that I got a chance to shoot his rifle and check out the scope. I was very pleased with how well it was built and how clear and bright it appeared. I fired six shots three without my glasses and three with andthe last three shots we covered the holes with a nickel at 100 yards. The gun and scope worked very well together using the load Nikon recommends.

I bought the TC Encore after Christmas and that is the scope I put on it, but due to health reasons I haven't been able to get out and shoot it yet. I'm really expecting good things from both the gun and the scope combo. I hope this helps you out some...do lots of reading and research before making the jump. I"™m sure you won't be disappointed.

My buddy has the scope with the BDC recticle. His gun does not fire 150 grain charges with 250 grain bullets with accuracy. So, the BDC isn't as consistent. He shoots 130 grain loads with a 250 grain bullet. He just practiced a little and set yardage to recticle marks, he absolutely loves his scope.......
