Need more info regarding which scope you are considering in each manufacturers line. Of all listed, I'd suggest the Bushnell (3200 is better IMO, than Banners or other low end models) can be quite good. Save you money and get something decent. Check out Burris Fullfields or Sightron's also.

I wouldn't worry with the 50 to 56mm lens, the price limitations you have will keep you from getting good glass. Glass quality and coatings are the most important part of a scope. The Bushell scopes are probably the better quality of the companies you listed. Really cheap price usually means really cheap scope. I would save up to get a quality scope.

Need some model names to go along with your manufacturer names. Need prices of each also.

Dustin my e-mail reply came back, but I would look at the Nikon ProStaff at $149.95 or maybe the Bushnell 3200 Elite at $163.95 over the limited information list you have. www.swfa.com/c-16-rifle-scopes.aspx You may be able to find a slightly better price, but these aren't bad and there are a lot of other scopes to look at.

I second the nikon prostaff. Nikon makes really good scopes.

"M-O-O-N" that spells that you can't go wrong with the bushnell 3200 or the Nikon prostaff. The Bushnell offers more options in regards to reticles and rain guard, but both will do a solid job.
