Default Burris Fullfield II scope

I am looking for a 2x7 to 3x9 power scope for my savage ML. I currently have a couple Bushnell elites that I very much like, but came across the Burris Fullfield II and it is advertised for $160.95 with whatever a "forever" warranty means on the SWFA website. Is this scope any good and does anyone know what Burris offers for warranty? Thanks ahead of time.

not a bad scope for the money, I have a 3x9 w/BP on my ML, its acualy the only rifle I have that I use the BP on, the second substention below the crosshair is about 3" low at 250 yds.
I haven't used the warranty recently, years ago I sent a 6x24 signature back twice to have dirt/debri removed from the inside.

Ridge Runner, what do you think that the durability of the scope is to recoil? Some of the loads I shoot out of my savage have a lot of recoil, more than a .300 win mag for some. Do you think that this scope would hold up to that or puke out?

I think it would do ok on about any rifle, the 378 or 460 weatherby or simular may do it in but I think it'll hold up to about anything less.

The fullfieldII is alot of scope for the money. The used to be 219 or so but I have seen them for around 150 on the internet. At that price, you can hardly go wrong

I have (2) 3x9x40 II BP. 1 mounted on an Encore 338 pro hunter barrell and the other on a 50cal muzzleloader barrell. No problems as of yet.

I have two Burris 3x9, one a Ruger 243 and one on a 270 and I have been happy with both. This year one of them fogged up after hunting in the snow - I believe it was blown seals. I sent the scope back to Burris and they sent me a new scope. It did take about 3 weeks but I now have new scope.

A buddy of mine has two of the 3-9x models with the Balistic-Plex reticle. One is on his .338 RUM, and the other is on his Sako 7mm-08. He bought the scopes in $200 promo package deals. One came with with a 20x spotting scope (which he says is total crap) and the other came with a set of 8x binoculars (which he says are pretty decent).

Natchez Shooting Supply has the $200 package deals, and their regular price on the scope is pretty good as well. www.natchezss.com
