Default Rules Question!!!! (for Ken)

Ken,
Once you reach the shooting stake and start your yardage judging process and you are standing close to the peg but not touching it are you allowed to go to the left or right (but not forward) to get a better angle or look at the target for yardage judging.

VortecXt2000,
There is nothing in the rules to prevent you from looking at the target from multiple angles to judge your yardage, even after you have touched the stake. As you have noted, approaching the stake would obviously be a no-no. Keep in mind however, this does not change the time requirement to judge and get the shot off. I point this out because I have talked with people who felt that as long as they were not touching the stake the clock was not running. They were wrong.

You are reading the rule correctly.
Getting rid of binoculars would not do nearly as much as getting rid of chairs!
I did' nt say that. You heard me wrong.

The board has NOT talked about that . It has not come up.
OH jeeze, that was a joke. You guys have me gun shy.
