Default fat 3-D shafts

Last year at the worlds I busted 3 arrows (23 speed vapors) by shooting them into Morrell bags. The points and inserts actually pushed back into the shaft splintering the ends. I bought 6 more recently and started practicing at a local shop and after approx. 50 shots 5 of the 6 did the same thing. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Default RE: fat 3-D shafts

I have been shooting these arrows for the last month or so.And I havn't had any problems with them, some have over 300 shots on them. You could have bought some bad shafts.I would go through all of them and check for any sign of splintering,or cracks before shooting again.I also shoot the CXL250 arrows made by Carbon Express, they seem to group better the the Vapors for me,but I'm shooting indoors and don't want to bust my CXL's.If you keep having problems with the Vapors, take them back to your dealer,or contact the company yourself, see if they are having any problems.Good luck.
