Default Old Records

I was working for an elderly lady the other day and saw a crate of old records near her front door. I asked her if she was throwing them out and she said they were her sons and he left them there so she was getting rid of em. I offered to buy them from her but she just gave em to me.
When I got home I went through them.
Some of the records include....
Pink Floyd
The Doors
The Beatles -SGT PEPPERS.....
A whole lot of Steely Dan
Bruce Springsteen
The Who
U2 War
Peter Frampton
and so on.

Does anyone know where I can go to find out the value on these? I plan on keeping the ones I mentioned above but I'd like to know if they have any value to them. Pink Floyd's Brick in the Wall Record will never leave my hands, matter of fact I need to get on ebay and try to find a player. Thanks for any help.

Snooze, I have around 5000 old records and have wanted to look them up for the value for years.I do know that it is very involved. The ones that you would think are good ones are usually not.Condition is everything, then the very first label company to do the record is important.
There is a site on the web that you can look up any record ever made and they give you the value.I dont know where it is at anymore though.Have the record right with you ,cause you must compare all labels. Also the sleeves should be in good shape and colorful. My best record I have is a record Priscilla Pressley record, she sang for the king and it never made it on the air. Valued at 10,000 to 12,000 last time I heard. My favorite records are anything connected to race and muscle cars. Like GTO,409 and such.

Rackmaster I probably don't need to tell you this, but don't open any of the unopened ones, you could cut the value to a collector by more than half.
