DD...I've read through the posts and I'm pretty impressed...I worked for Deere for 13 years and was a Territory Manager so I was responsible for total sales for 9-10 dealers...That increase in bikes was impressive, what impressed me the most is that most managers are ex-salesmen when they should be coaches...Putting a successful team together is what makes a great manager...

Does Harley have a system in place that alerts you to dealerships that are looking for managers??? Just curious as to how that works...

btw...I live in Asheboro, NC and the local dealer passed about 2 weeks ago, don't know what the situation is here but you might want to check it out...

Good Luck, sounds like we are all lucky to have guys living around the Country to give their take on the local area...

My D.M. has given me some stores that might be in the market and he is the one who had the Oklahoma City store contact me ...Im sure that the word will get out ...I was on the phone with the dealer in Hawaii for over and hour this evening ...he has offered to pay for my trip there to meet him and see the store but until I feel like we can come togther on terms I would not want to take advatage of his offer as much as I would like to go there ...I have sent him an email this evening explaining my terms to consider relocating to Hawaii ...I may have scared him off as he has not responded yet ...

Now that's funny I don't care who you are. You have to know the history between these two though. LMAO.

You're ambitious, DD, but you'd be better off selling lady's undergarments in Hampstead.

good luck on whatever you decide
