Good luck with your new job. Hawaii sounds nice but the cost of living there is really high and after while u would get bored being stuck there. I hate to recommend Oklahoma but it is close to a lot of things to go see and do. You could head south and be in Texas in a couple hours for hunting. Go East to the Ozarks, west to the mountains, north for pheasant hunting all within a easy drive.

Go out west if you can. Great county, better hunting and a fantastic way of life.or....retire you old coot. Been doing that difficult job for the past 8 years and I have to admit I like that job the best.
Stay away from DC is my advice.

DD, I just can't see you enjoying the Gaitherburg area. I know I have a hard time with it. And I live about 60-70miles north. They got some big deer here but think, I pay over 1500-2K for a lease a year.

Rick old buddy it would be a pleasure to share a hunting camp with a living legend like you ....its not as far feteched as you might think the dealer there is very interested but I want to weigh all my options before making a decision ....I must admit it would be a hard choice between hunting big whitetails or watching slender ones on a beach in Maui
