Man, what a light show we've had tonight. It has thundered and lightninged for hours. My sump pump actually kicked on tonight. I think it's the first time I've heard it in 10 years. There is actually water in the hole. Usually it's just cobwebs. I mean, it's just poured and poured here at the house. Rained out my golf outing this morning.

i hear ya bud. all the news and weather seem to be disagreeing right now. but ive heard we may be in for a monsoon tomarrow..i watched 2 diffrent forcasts and they both said upto an inch is possible. today we lucked out and only caught a drizzle and a quick shower but it was muggy and crappy looking all day. looks to be more of the same all week. i hope this isnt going to be one of them summers that can drown a fish!

We had one area on the Eastern Shore that's gotten over 12, that's right.... TWELVE, inches of rain today. MOst areas are running around 3-5 right now.

well, I hate to add to your sickness Wyo, but we just got past a big storm down here about a week or so ago.Our rainguageonly goes to 5",and it was completely full,but I heard we got way more than that, up to 10" or 12" in some places. I guess get out there in the blue undies, and enjoy the shower!!!!

Yep, that be Federsburg, 49 miles south of me, the town where thatmotorcycle show was I went to last week. It was the same storm I got caught in driving back across the Eastern Shore Sat night and it continued all day yesterday. Seaford Delaware is flooded from a dam breaking, thats just east of Federsburg, again about 45 miles south of me. Going to continue with storms all week through Friday too.

Yep, washed out my fishing trip to the upper Potomac to try for Walleye and Musky. Who would have thought you could have too much water to go fishing?
