What equipment for food plots

Anyone using one of the ATV size equipment for food plots. Only looking to do a few acres of plots. I have access to a disc to pull behind my tractor and am looking for a harrow but would use a compactor, spreader, and sprayer off of the ATV. Someone mentioned that I could make something to drag and compact the soil by using chain link fence and a sheet of plywood.

Just trying to pull from others experience so cut down on mistakes. The past 2 years we have been having lime spread on the fields each fall so that should be helping to bring the ph up, our soil test will tell the tale.

drag and compact the soil by using chain link fence and a some weight. you can also do it by hand too, but thats more work if you want a small plot. Bigger plots you can use the fence and some weight. Also keep the weeds out. I take care of a field and I mow it twice a month to keep the weeds down so the plot can grow after it gets so tall the weeds can't grow anymore.
