Man o man. i seen seven bird . within minutes of arriving. i sounded off a few strokes of the call and almost instantly i heard gobble gobble.. The birds have been holden the same pattern since last fall. Should be fun when the season opens.

Last Saturday morning while travelling to our fishing hole there were turkeys in many of the fields, most fields had 20 - 25 birds and with 4-5 gobblers in full strut!

Yeah baby - they're definitely peaking right now. I've heard and seen quite a few good toms. They all looked (and sounded) absolutely delicious.

Can't wait until next Saturday.

The weather has taken a diffent change of direction. Therefoe the birds have calmed down. But today i did catch 7 in the power line. No matter what call i threw at em the did not respond well. Atleast i am seeing them i was worried . I didnt see any birds for 3 days. Has anyone else seen a change in turkey habits with the change in weather?

Just a word of advice, i wouldn't call to the birds as much as you are. You are educatiing them with every call, especially if they come in and don't find a hen and you get busted by them. But good luck saturday.
