Look at the thread "Chronic Wasting Disease"...it was in Captive deer herds and doesn't appear to be spreading just yet.

Our paper said that they served 350 people at a game dinner with the deer that tested positive for CWD

You guys are in for alot more surprises with this. Im smack dab in the middle of this thing, I know the guy personally, and am unfortunately involved too. Dont believe all you read in the rags, and be patient, its going to get ugly before it gets better.

How ugly? Seems pretty ugly already. If what I hear is true its going to be all over NY before long. What the long term implications of all this on the deer herd. How are they managing it out west?
