I would think that if anything changes it would be in the SRA's.

I'm really not sure that would be all bad. I know that almost all of 2B is getting pretty well developed and besides, todays slug guns are a far cry from the punkinballs of yesteryear. They are very effective weapons these days. many are still deadly out to 150+ yards.

Ido not know why the Gameboys would want more shotguns. I read where 1 of every 4 property damage claims is caused by a shotgun while they are less then 1% of all guns used for hunting.
when I was stationed in NC we could use rifle from a treestand but only shotgun on ground level by what I read most states that have shotguns only soon go to a short gun season then but make bow season longer. that don't seem fair to the gun hunters

Center fire rifles are currently banned in SRA counties.

Sen. Boscola is currrently pushing to have rifles banned in her district which includes Lehigh Co. where Tracey Burns was shot. However ,most of Lehigh Co. is in 5C ,not 3 D where the hunting accident occurred. WMU 3 D includes Monroe ,Pike wayne and parts of Lack. , Luz. and Carbon. Therefore, they would either have to redraw the WMU boundaries ,or just make Lehigh and northampton shotgun only and use the county boundaries instead of the WMU boundaries.

Not quite true.

I dont know about the SRA's in the east. It may be the case there but out here in the west, rifles are allowed in that part of 2B that is outside of Allegheny County. We were all surprised when the PGC created the new WMU's that they didnt do that(restrict it to shotguns) but they didn't. The fact remains, however, that rifles are legal weapons in some of 2B. All of which is an SRA.

Wrong again!!! I challenge you to cite one quote from the PGC that states 2 B is an SRA WMU. The fact is that the term 'SRA" refers specifically to the use of certain weapons in certain counties. There is only one WMU that is entirely a SRA WMU and that is 5 D. But, part of chester Co. is in 5 c which is not an SRA WMU.

Ok you are technically correct. Gotta say though that I have heard WCO's here refer to 2B (not just Allegheny County) as an SRA due to the extended season. They were one and the same before the new WMU's.
In any case, I stand corrected.

What I should have said at first is that we are likely to see a shotguns only reg first appear in the remainder of 2B and 5C and 5D before it happens elsewhere.
