Default For you New Yorkers part 2

This is an article from the Buffalo News, March 6

Several readers objected to last week's item on Assembly Bill 1850, an animal cruelty bill. They claimed the bill Assemblyman Alexander Grannis (D-N.Y.) introduced could not be used to make hunting illegal.

The bill would allow legislators or a judge to redefine what constitutes "legal hunting by the DEC" and "aggravated cruelty" to the point that fish hooks and bullets could be considered illegal. Anti-hunting groups have tried to find sympathetic legislators and judges in other states.

Suitable laws exist to punish game hogs, resource thieves and cruel pet owners. Another law is not needed.

These maggots will stop at nothing to push their anti hunting agenda, dont be fooled. We fought long and hard against the proposed "canned hunt" bill a year ago. Hell, we even had hunters against us, as they see any hunt behind fence as a canned hunt, and forget that stocking water with fish, fields with pheasants or snowshoe hares is all inclusive. Then comes leases, then finally, all hunting. Sen. Bruno promised us it wouldnt be presented, and yet, after a 1 to 4 vote defeated its presentation, he did it anyway. It took a veto from Gov. Pataki to finally shelve it for that year. Folks have no idea what far reaching tentacles these bills have.

The antis are all too happy to watch us foolishly fight amongst ourselves. It only flames their anti hunt fires. I know first hand. I can show you how much I lost personally in wages to prove it...
