Default Anybody hunting Sikas on Saturday?

I am, just wondering who else. Haven't heard a whistle yet this year, though.

You got that right, tasty little fellas.
I'll try to stop by Cyclone, I come out next to Walmart and head down 50 to my club, so It's pretty much on the way. You really gonna stink up the poor Chinese's restaraunt with deep woods off and track that putrid Blackwater mud all over?

Yep, been doin it for 'bout 3 years now. Them Chinese folks don't seem to care..We always joke about the seagulls in the parking lot and how the chicken always seems mighty fresh! I'll be either in a red Commanche with bicycles or a canoe on top or a green 4 dr. Blazer with WV plates....hope to see ya!

Always wanted to try for one......now that I live in the York, PA area I finally broke down and bought a MD nonresident license........No if I could only understand 1 /10th of that handbook I'd be on my way to hunting down there!!

Someday I'll give em' a go.....right now I don't have the foggiest of where to even start.

Sure are a neat little animal.......they are like a mini elk aren't they.
Good luck to all you guys chasing them Sat.

How'd ya do cyclone? I saw nothing, it's unbelievably dry. I have a 1.5 mile walk from where I park to where I hunt, and the last mile always requires waders, and extreme caution. I could have done it in tennis shoes Saturday. Next weekend I'm going all the way to the back of the property along the river, they have to be back there. I may have saw a misquito or two, how about you?

Didn't do any good either. Found some red oaks that are producing but not dropping yet. The willow oaks also have nuts but not dropping. When they come down it'll be good hunting there.. Haven't found the white oaks yet. I spent sat. evening 30 feet up a pine glassing the marshes out, didn't see a thing...

skeeters? what skeeters?
