Default HERE WE GO AGAIN

New York state assembly man Alexander Grannis, has got a new bill in the assembly No. 1850, that we have to stop cold. 1850 would make it a criminal offense to hunt and trap. He considers this animal cruelty. We have to get ahold of our local assembly people and tell them noooooooo on bill 1850. Rich

Good post RWK. Every state has these same issues and we as sportspersons need to stay 1 step ahead of the antis. They always start small and work their magic before anyone gets concerned. They tried to ban trapping here and since there were only a couple of hundred licensed trappers it almost snuck through. Nice job pointing this one out.

Men you guys need to fight these people with all your resources. I know joining the sportsmans alliance and other organizations help, but you need to fight these things personally. Get ten people together and take out an ad in a large sunday paper. You can also call some reporters with a couple of newspapers and tell your story. Exposure is the key to winning this battle. It only takes a few good men. Our freedoms as country will be the biggest fights we will make in the next couple of decades.

Till our trails cross,

WW

Find some dirt on this guy and put it to print. They and we all have dirt on us.

Latest thing like this in my state happened this week. Some local guys put together a weekend coyote hunting tournament with payouts to the top 3 weights and the lightest. They did a similar tourney in a town near them and harvested something like 82 yotes. In Vermont, coyote hunting is allowed all year long and is legal 24 hours a day. Some retired minister read the adds advertising the tournament and went to court and got an injunction against the event saying it and all hunting is animal cruelty. They are now fighting it out in court which might delay or cancel the event.

Yes, it will go that far. but it will never be passed. The state realizes that they need us hunters. We are the first in conservation. Plane and simple. No ands, ifs, buts about it.

This guy Alexander Grannis prolly seen a deer over the roof of a car when his little 12 year old girl was chopping on a veggie burger and started crying "œdaddy daddy do something about it"

It would be a different story if the deer on the roof of the car was a deer through the window of his car when his daughter was with him.

They only think one sided. We all need to put our side of the story into the open so people don't think we are just some weekend Rambo's out to kill whatever moves.
