Default Pics of my 3 favorite bucks

This year was my worst ever I really got nothing to show off. But I finally got a digital cam and am now able to take pics of my other bucks. The one on the left is My 8 pt I took last year with the bow in oct. After I had some guy riding his atv by me on the property at 5 pm I was about to call it quits I was so pissed. I turned aroud only to see this guy 35 yds from me,I hit him to far back He ran 40 yds and bedded down.Got up took 3 steps and bedded again. From experience I knew this was a bad hit but Instead of spooking him I snuck out of the woods went up the next morning and luckily found him 40 yds from my stand. The one on the right is a 10 pt I took in Michagen in oct 2001. We left Jersey midnight sat and got to My friends fathers property about 11 the next morning.By 12 I was up in a stand in the middle of tall thick grass and runs all through it.At 3 I started to rattle ever half hour and at 6 I see him walking right to me nose in the air sniffing. At 25 yds I got a brad side shot and double lunged him,He jumped took 4-5 fast steps and started walking,20 yds later he wobbled to the left, right and fell. he dressed about 175 my 8 dressed 140. The rack im holding was a road kill buck I found.I was doing a job In Readington New Jersey,I saw this buck 100 yds from the house i was working at with another nice buck and 8 does. One morning I'm comming down the road and in the distance i see antlers laying on the side of the road,I thought No friggin way. I pulled over and he was still warm. I went to Knock on the door of the persons house to let them know I was gonna take him,AS I was walking to the door I hear a snort and to my left was 2 bucks smaller but very subordinate to this bigger one. I guess they were waiting for him. So i called the police got my road tag and took him to my butcher.I lost one hind quater Due to the hit but the rest was fine. Some other hunter took my cape so he could use it for his buck who's cape was very messed up due to fighting.ANd dumb luck both bucks were just about the same size. And the skull mount I did myself. Hope the pic loaded right enjoy,Hope everyone had a Teriffic season.

Nice bucks. This one is my favorite.

Shot at 4:30pm on the Saturday of Firearm Buck in 1988. Hunterdon County Zone 11.
one shot of 000 was all I could get at him, but it was enough. He's about 110 inches. The other front leg is there some where. My Dad pushed him to me in a bump drive, and while doing so missed two that he SAYS were bigger than this guy, he was shooting a side-by-side 10ga, not a fast reloader!

The cop told me I am able to keep everything, Like all deer even the ones you mount or cap by law you are supposed to keep your tags to prove it was a legal deer. Now it IS illegal to sell anypart of a deer meat, hooves tail or antlers. But picking up a roadkill as long as you keep the transportation tag the cop gives you it is like tagging a deer you shot.
