find any sheds in new jersey

i was just wondering if anyone went out shed hunting in nj yet? if you did tell me how you did

I took a good long walk yesterday . Found some really good runs in the snow but not one shed . A few spots I had toget down to get through the thick stuff. If they were ready to drop in that area they would have

Nope, zero sheds. There is a least a foot of snow on the ground up here (Lake Hopatcong area). I have seen tracks in the snow in between the houses.

Saw two dead bucks here on woodbride ave in Edision this week. One had shed already and one was a nice 8pt. Yes there are deer in Edison believe it or not. The deer I watch around my hunting areas have not shed yet.

Saw a bachelor group of 8 bucks earlier this week near my home. All but one still carried their full racks.

I put one of those shed traps out for the first time this year . The 5 gallon bucket with bungees around it . I also placed my video camera unit out there so maybe I could catch one on film .

I live in Monmouth county and have deer in my backyard all day long - have 2 eights both 2.5 years old - real shooters next year - and they still had their racks as of Wedensday - tough getting around for the deer now, so I expect they will drop soon - need a doe for the freezer, and will shoot the smallest one that comes in to avoid shooting a buck

I saw a six point standing on the side of Rt 80 in Rockaway tonight. He was with 3 or 4 other deer but I couldn't get a look at them. I'm gonna take a walk behind my house in the morning and see what I see!
