Default It Is Now Up To The PA Hunters

Article in Lancaster morning paper said PGC will not change plans for the new seasons.
2 of the commissioners said they did not agree with the plan but voted for it.
I guess that pay check looks better then seeing deer while hunting.
Maybe they hunt on private land and are not effected.
Looks like the Public Lands will take another hit again next year.
They keep this up and soon there will be no reason to buy a license anymore.
Looks like Dirty Politics found it's way into the PGC.

Now it is up to the hunters themselves to stop the slaughter in their own areas.
No One says, you the hunter, has to pull the trigger!

Think before pulling that trigger next year, ask yourself:
How many deer did I see this year?
Are there really as many as the PGC says there are?
How many will I see next year if, You The Hunter, shoot that doe?

YES, some areas still have alot of deer, so they say.
No, where I hunt is not one of those areas.

Ask yourself, does my hunting area have a lot of deer?

If it does, more power to ya and good luck.
If it does not, then you must let the does walk on by.

One point, though, they did NOT set the doe permit allocations yet, these MIGHT still drastically change. Have to wait and see....

People are complaing and the anterless allocations have not even been set yet. Kind of jumping the gun?? I think so.

Keep in mind that these are preliminary decisions. We are in a comment period until decisions are finalized at the April meetings.

Everyone will be having their Panties in a Bunch. Our Club President has recieved a Warning in the Mail, that the Cabin would be Burned to the Ground, if Doe Hunting was not Stopped. Some Guys are Serious, and will STOP at nothing to Feed their Obsession over the Deer Herd.

it's worse..I've see cabins burned already in 3A! big camp up near Lehman Hollow had several does hanging every year since concurrent seasons went into place. Last winter after rifle season (when they had 11 does hanging the first day on the meat pole) it mysteriously burnt to the ground. got replaced with a trailer and addition over the summer and got burnt again in October of '04.
The guys from that camp posted rewards for information leading to the arrest of the arsons! In November some guy that was turkey hunting out of that camp got sprayed with a load of bird shot...accident???? who knows?????????? But no locals are coming forth to help them!!!!!!

Have these people, Lost their Senses? I cant imagine another So Called Hunter, doing something like this to People who practice Managment on their Own Grounds, the way that they see fit. This Attitude is Mind Boggling to say the least. What will we as Hunters gain, by having our own attacking us??

There are a lot of ways to effect change in the Attitudes of the GC and Hunters, but strong arming will only lead to someone getting seriously hurt, or worst.Dont buy the Lisences Plain and Simple, if it bothers them that much. Take up Bowling, or Billiards, where they can be most usefull.
