Default Really Good NY Mapping Site

I post this link every so often - In NY we are really lucky to have such a good site for aerial photography!!!

http://www1.nysgis.state.ny.us/MainMap.cfm

keep clicking with a "+" until it the street map turns into a picture.

My area in Central NY was updated recently with a 2003 picture.

Try it out if you haven't before - I'll bet you'll flip!

Thanks for the awesome site! I will be spending many cold winter nights studying my hunting areas and potential new ones!

Thanks Farm Hunter. I didn't know such a thing existed and I am having a good time looking around the State. I just saved it in my favorite bin.

Click on the "+" button on the upper left then when you click on the map it zooms in. It defaults to when you click on the map it just centers it.

take the red circle and click on the county you want, so it centers. Then where it says area or miles - on the bottom - it usually says 500?.......erase 500 and put in 1. (one square mile) Anything over one and your'e gonna get a regular hagstrom type map. After 1 you get the sattelite and you can keep zooming in: .9, .8, etc. Hope this helps
